man this deserves half n X. Horrible script and acting. I can't believe I saw it but hey the movie was free.

I watched it accidentally a couple of days ago =| Was going to see Sea Inside, but ended up on xXx, because I was late...

I was never going to see it, because of fat rapper action hero (who the hell thought it would be a good idea??), but ya know... In some aspects it was superior to the first part. Certainly, Tamahori > Cohen. There were some memorable action scenes and, actually, first 20-30 minutes reminded me a lot of Tamahori's previous work - Die Another Day. Whole "special agents, without the bureau to back them up, finding who is after them on their own" (much like Brosnan on Cuba) thing.
However, that said, Ice Cube was horrible, as expected. People in theater were laughing their asses off when he was climbing the anchor in his diving suit. Jackson was horrible aswell and, since he had much more screen presence this time around, it was very noticeable. Scott Speedman was somewhat a revelation, but he was surrounded by guys like Xzibit or w/e his name is, who must be banned from making movies forever.
Script? At first it looked a bit more serious than that of the original, where a bunch of Czech terrorists was gonna blow up half of the world O.o Here we have a US general/minister, who wants to take over the country, and his personal vendetta against xXx agency operatives lead by SLJ. But then rappers, streetracers and gangstas started popping out of everywhere and the movie turned into cheesiest flick of the past years, ending with craptacular cgi train chase sequence...

xXx 1 was pretty cool. I mean Vin Diesel was funny and the story was only for fun so I had fun :) xXx 2 is not so cool - this ice cube is a total "not-talent" even in action scenes which imho are going forever. I got bored... I got the same feeling like in the last Bond - "When is this going to end???" Action scene follows action scene which fallows action scene....

btw. the best action movies are with Bruce Willis and that's it! :)

junk..... Absolute Junk...... The first 5 min's started off great, I was thinking wow this is going to be a great movie..... after that it' was worse than getting my tooth drilled at the dentist.... I can't believe Samual L. did this film.... He' must have had a sequal clause.

Lotsa of stuff blowing up, but the writing was terrible, these actors must have thought " I can't believe I'm saying this"
