Gibby, don't think so. DVCProHD not mentioned anywhere, just "DV50".
DVCProHD would be "DV100". "DV50" probably stands for DVCPro50.

Read my post again. I mentioned nothing about DVCProHD. In my post I listed the following formats the HDD would take from the HVX200: DV, DVCPro, DVCPro50. Their reference to "DV50" is indeed DVCPro50, as they note on their web site (click on the link I sent).

That would be really useful for the SDX900, SPX800, and SPC700 Panasonic cameras.

You know I read HD100 and though DVCPRO HD, as it is DV100, so I think this is where PKraft got confused in your post.

I think they chose FAT32 because both Macs and PCs can read it.

4GB but you might find some stupid software only writing 2GB.

Either way. if they make a DTE drive for DVCPROHD....Panasonic probably won't be able to make the HVX200 fast enough to fill the orders!

So true.
Even Apple can't get enough of the 1.8" drives for the iPod.. They're always in short supply.

So I guess the P2 is Fat32, but Pani has a work around by spanning the files into 2GB junk and link it together in one big sequence using meta tags.
Hahaha
Oh well it works!
