View Full Version : Grabs from a national radio image film

Just returned from Cologne and Berlin, where I shot an image film for a national radio program.

So this was my first "real world scenario" for the FS100. Worked pretty good.
We had one lite panel, but used it only once (first picture) everything else was available light.
Shot in 50i, mostly kit lens, since it was pretty much run&gun. The other lens was a Samyang/Rokinor 85/1.4
This lens is amazing - in a dim broadcast studio at f4 I needed an ND - wtf? That camera is a nigh vision device.
Did some basic curve tweaking.

Here is some grabs.

Looks great. Which shots are from Samyang?

Yep My standard "window portrait" needs ND too to get F4

Nice pics

All the images look great.

The samyang 35mm and 85mm are great F1.4 lenses. Its a wonder they haven't made a 50mm for a matching set. Maybe they think there are too many Nikon 50mm F1.4s out there.

I heard they planning a 50 mm.

Looks quite nice. I dig the grading, it's got a filmic quality to it without getting out of hand. A bit off topic... the 50i... was that recorded onto card and can you do 50p on the card as well, or do one need a recorder for that (i mean in 1080 of course...)
