Might there be a way to attach the new Canon acv-235 anamorphic converter to the HVX, so as to achieve 2.35:1 without cropping in post? I am in search of a way to achieve the 2.35:1 cinemascope aspect ratio on the HVX while maintaining full resolution. A 35mm film-out is my end medium. What are the odds that Panasonic or Century or P+S Technik et cetera will release an HVX anamorphic solution when the camera debuts in the fall/winter 2005?
