??+\0\0\0\0??P\0ry Optics cine style manual focus adapter work with the HVX200?
Is the lens configuration the same as the DVX ?
I've read a lot of posts about the lack of interchangeable lenses, so wouldn't this and the P&S 35mm ameliorate that ?

Are you referring to a 16.9 adaptor (no need on the HDX as it's CCDs are 16.9 shaped). It was in the works but as far as I know Century Optics has not completed a 16.9 adaptor for the DVX yet.

Ummm, isn't that what the anamorphic adapter for the DVX does? :|
Anyways, none of the century adapters will work with the HVX; the lens sizes are different, not to mention the optics probably aren't good enough for HD resolution.

I meant the cine-style manual focus adapter. Will there need to be a special HD version ?
Oh and while were talking about adaptors , what about the P&S Technik 35mm adaptor ?

The mini35 will likely need a new connecting kit, although there's some hope that a step-down ring would let it work with the HVX.
It's almost certain that Century would need to design a new manual focus adapter; the lens is larger in diameter than the DVX's, plus the focus ring is much wider/thicker, so I would guess that they would need to introduce a new ring.

Perhaps Panasonic can make the focus ring on the HVX with standard gear teeth for easy aftermarket follow focus hardware. Jan? Oh, Jan! Put that on the wish list for the final production model!
