This suite comes w/ Premier, After Effects, etc.

Alright, my first question is, how fast of a PC do I need? I'm about to unload $2400 on a PC w/ DUAL Intel P4 Xeon processers, 1 Gig of RAM, and a really good graphics card. Could I save some money by cutting a few corners in the hardware department, or is the PC I have picked out just fine?

Question 2: I want to do 2 main things with digital effects. (1) Film action scenes in slow-mo, cut the sound, dub it, then speed it up. And (2) erase things like pulleys, harnesses, and ropes from the shot so I can make it look like the actors are jumping really high in the air, etc. Will I be able to pull this stuff off with the Adobe suite, or should I use other software? Thanks.

u got a lot cut out for you man...

as for buying a new computer...wait a couple months the new dual core 64bit cpus to come down in price...2400 will build a fine pc....

this way wehn adobe releases their 64bit versions of their suite, it will be blazing...

as for your pullies aharness and ropes....
yeah dont epect it to be a speady process....frame by frame in after effects will be fine it will take time to learn how to rotoscope and to do it ...well you got some work cut out for ya buddy....
