RLA/RPF question ?

Well here is a quick question when bringing in a RPF/RLA file in to AE how would i go about also bringing in the objects shadow and reflection values I know i can export out a workspace for my reflection channels etc. but is there a way to actually have the shadow embeded within the RPF or RLA file? if so plz help another question would be if this is not possible can I do this in my compositer (generate the shadow)
