4:3 ratio on the panasonic HVX200

I would like to know what is happening with 4:3 ratio.New Panasonic HVX200 and Sony model have jast 16:9 ratio.Question:can I shot standard ratio with Panasonic HVX200.

All HD is 16:9, so if you're shooting HD, you're shooting 16:9. There is no 4:3 HD broadcast standard.

For standard-definition, both cameras offer 4:3 recording.

I understood in other codecs DV 25 and 50 that 4.3 would be douable on the HDX?

Yes in DV25 and DV50 (which are both standard-def) 4:3 will be an option.
