I'm heading to Tokyo in August to shoot some scenes for a film, does anybody know the street price in Japan and availability of the FS100? The price in Australia is insulting and I need a 24p model.

Sadly, prices in the home market are higher than the US, but may be a little lower than Australia. When you're in Tokyo, you might want to try Fujiya (http://www.fujiya-avic.jp/), 5-52-1 Nakano, Nakano Broadway 3F 4F: ¥566,000 with lens (https://www.fujiya-avic.jp/products/detail6976.html), ¥514,000 without (https://www.fujiya-avic.jp/products/detail6977.html)

By way of comparison, the Amazon.co.jp price is ¥608,000 with lens (http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/switch-language/product/B0057BVK6K/ref=dp_change_lang?ie=UTF8&language=en_JP?tag=battleforthew-20)

Good luck,

Bill
