Here is some footage from a banquet I did over the weekend:[/URL]

The banquet hall was pitch dark except for a few spot lights surrounding the banquet table area. The spot lights were either pink or purple or green as this year's theme was 'circus'.

Notice how the original footage was VERY pink, because the interview space was being dominated by the automatic motorized pink spot light that was directed in our direction.

BUT, notice how the NEX-FS100 preserved many of the colours so that post can bring them back! With very little grain!

NOTE: Colour graded footage includes the noise removal filter from After Effects CS5.

EQUIPMENT USED:
- Canon FD 50mm F1.8
- Recorded in AVCHD 1080@24p FX to Lexar Professional 64GB Class 10 133x SD Card
- Hand Held
- Kit cardioid microphone from Sony

Wow, that's actually amazing for 27dB. I've not tried the noise reduction stuff in AE, have you compared it to Neat Video? Just curious. Most of my shots with my FS100 have been at 0dB so I've not even begun to explore higher gain yet.

27cb - Im amazed! Sure you had a noise filter in post...but still. Im waiting for the day Neat Video bring out a cuda accelerated version for noise removal. They already have CUDA enabled on their neat image photoshop plugin so fingers crossed.
