Hey, what's happening today? The site is really quiet. Are all the people that went to NAB sleeping off their hangovers?
Now THAT makes me sad I wasn't there.

I ate scrambled eggs and chocolate for breakfast.Yummy! Sounds like something my daughter would eat! Have you tried Nutella with the eggs? According to my female offspring, it's very tasty. Haven't had the courage to try it myself...
Oh - Good morning to you too!

actually, I've been munching on a Cadbury Caramilk candy bar that my boyfriend brought back from Canada. I got some other things, of them, a Kinder Egg.

I don't know yet. I let him build them, because I know that is why he bought them in the first place. I used to have a few sitting around my desk, but in a recent office-revamp, I think I tossed them out..oops!

I love Kinder Eggs. What toy came in it?Aren't they prohibited in the US? I remember reading some nonsense like that a few years back. Choking hazard.
Flash back: Christmas 1989. My family was living in Vienna, Austria, waiting for asylum (no, you bastards, not THAT kind of asylum) application decision since last summer. Had fifty shillings (that was like four bucks). My daughter had just been born, my son was four. How do you make Christmas on four bucks?
A bunch of Kinder Eggs (they were really cheap in Austria, I think we got five of them for twenty shillings), wrapped in tinfoil. Asked a local Christmas tree vendor for the cheapest tree. He gave me one for free. Hung the Kinder eggs on the tree, cut some papers into ornaments and chains...
The best Christmas in my life.
