Trying to come up with a story board for a product demonstration / tutorial. It needs to be both a sales tool a tutorial on how to use the product.

Here's few samples of what I'm competing against :)

The product is a string making jig for archery bowstrings. There's actually quite a market for these things, but as you can see not much for marketing and instruction is available on-line.

I'd like to do a teaser that is a product promo and a full instructional DVD to sell and will ship with the product.

I'd like to use time lapses to show the slow tedious portions of the process. From there I'd like to film much of the instruction from the operators point of view.

Major questions are how to frame, DOF to use and back drop?

I'll be filming with a T3i, 17-35 L, 28mm f2, 50mm f1.8 and a 24-105 f4. I also have a TM700 to use as a second perspective and / or for dedicated timelapses. I have both a DPA lavalier mic and a boom if needed for sound.

Any pointers and suggestions on how to get a high quality piece here would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Pete
