Hey Guys,

Pretty sure many of you knew this, but for those that didn't here is the white paper concerning the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) for determining the exposure index:

http://www.iso.org/iso/iso_catalogue/catalogue_tc/catalogue_detail.htm?csnumber=37777

Costs 92 Swiss Francs to download.

Might help transposing DB into the ISO standards index.

I doubt this is going to help because from what I have seen in these cameras, the important aspect is knowing the native sensitivity of the camera at 0dB and that is not a consistent thing. It depends on the sensor. That is why people have been testing these. Now, knowing your gain in terms of the delta between gains, yes, that is known, from a dB shift to a ISO shift. However, I have seen multiple numbers floating around for the native gain of the FS100 sensor, so I am not fully sure what that is yet. For me though, it will be a rough estimate. I will just use my 7D and see what matches close enough and that will be what I use :)
