View Full Version : Avid DV QT Stream playback problem?

A friend just sent me a disk with an Avid QT DV Stream video on it, I copied it to my desk top. When I play it all I get is white with audio...no video?
Is this a Avid Codec issue???any help would be great..

...also forgot to mention it said codec not avaliable on Apple server?????

You need to ask you friend to email you the Avid DV QT codec from his system folder for you to have as well. Without the proper codec, you won't be able to decode the media. You might also want to try downloading from the www.avid.com support area.

Yeah that was the issue, Kai had posted a link to the Avid Free Version, I installed and was able to use the file.
