does it only recording as fierwire transmission or it can accept dual digital inputs threw the xlrs,like the Sony 530 blueray does

The only way to access channels 3 and 4 mentioned to Jan's presentation seems to be recording the On Board stereo mic with ADC control only. But we can hope that additional interfaces would be available.

I really hope you can get channels 3&4 in somehow.. how about those RCA audio connectors (same trick has been used since the XL1..with great success).
..Of course a Digi input would be nice.. But realisticly, I think most anyone would be happy with having all 4 channels in analog.
- Oh and it woudl rock to have FULLY mappable inputs/channels (thru the menu).
