I'm planning on shooting a film mid July with my fs100 (crossing my fingers it comes in soon). I own a DigiOptical 18-50 and a 85mm zeiss cp.2, both are pl mount. My question is - has anyone had any experience with MTF services adapters, and if so, will I be okay without an adapter support underneath it? MTF hasn't released their support yet and I doubt it'll ship before my film. The digioptical is 2.3 lbs. the zeiss is only 2 lbs. Any help would be appreciated.

Should be fine. MTF is one of the best in the biz, as far as I'm concerned... also, most adapters can go with much heavier lenses before needing support.

I think you should be fine... especially with the CP.2. Those lenses are super light weight.

Are you sure the Digioptic zoom is only 2.3 lbs?! I guess i've always associated it with Red, and thus RPP's. I don't remember it that light. but I believe you!

Thanks for your help! I'm not positive of the exact weight of the digioptical, I got that number from the B&H stats.

If you need an adapter with support take a looke at this one:

Ciecio7 makes really good stuff in reasonable price. I have a bunch of micro 4/3 for my Af100.

He has a website as well where the prices are lower

Just received MTF Nikon to E-Mount Adaptor...so well made. Now i do not mind paying $380 for it.
