View Full Version : Microsoft XP Media Center Edition
Just out of curiosity . . . I was wondering if this version of Microsoft's OS is compatible with any version of Avid?

I have no idea. why would you even want to edit on your tv anyway?

I don't know if it is supported, but I would doubt it. Let me check with engineering. I know it is not listed as part of the supported OS's on the Avid website.
Well, I was just curious because it is the OS that comes with the Toshiba P25 series. Not editing on my TV. :)

Avid is compatible with XP. You can run Xpress pro, the Nitris system at my work is run on a PC, and that makes me think the the adrenaline systems as well can be run on a PC. I would still reccomend the MAC puter if you can afford it. But, the PCs can be a great product, just have to make sure you build it correctly, with every component in perfect harmony with one another.
I just looked at the topic again, i would look at your system resources, and the system requirements for an Avid application.
