Avid 25p DV resolution

Hello all;

Thanks to everybody for their patience on this issue. Below is a link and directions to getting the resoltion back into your 25p PAL projects in Xpress Pro and Media Composer Adrenaline.

Apparently there was a bug in the installer creation that kept this file from properly being added to the resoltuions folder. Adding it manualy works just fine (as some of you have discovered!).

So no lawsuits, just go out and makle some movies. Apologies for the missing file - but software wouldn't human if it didn't make some mistakes.... ;)

I own a PAL AGDVX100AE and I am editing with Avid Xpress Pro 4.3.1 without Mojo

To try to capture in 25P from Avid gave me two problems:
1. the 28:1 compression already discussed in this forum
2. Overflow every time I tried to capture something, I was forced to switch to 25i as MichaelP suggested in one of his posts.

I downloaded the resolution file, installed where it has to and automagically everything went fine.

I only wonder how many people will have this problem and won't know that the solution is so easily within reach. I will spread this news on all italian forums I can.

Further, this forum is awesome! It is like entering in the DVX wonderland.
