View Full Version : Terribly Basic Avid/Boris Question

I have a sequence in Avid and a "settings" file in Boris Graffiti.

Now I realize that this is really, really basic, but... well... how do I merge them?

Ideally I'd like to overlay the Boris material on the whole sequence. Both are the same length.

The effects palette has Boris Grafitti 1-4. Double-clicking opens Boris. In Boris I can open the settings file... then what.

Neither Avid's Effects Guide nor Boris' Manual are terribly clear on this workflow; though I very well may have missed something.

The Boris manual does say that I can import a movie, but I think I'd rather keep everything in Avid and create media from there.

Anyway, I am close but missing something (something quite basic) and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Ok, so in the bottom right corner on Bori Grafffiti, there is an apply button. That does the trick of closing Boris, applying the Boris "setting" and getting you back to Avid. Perfect!
But... anyone know how to get this Boris effect to lay over more than one segment?
