what is the best format/codec export settings to interchange 24p footage between xpress and combustion?

A quicktime with the proper avid codec in and out of combustion is best and fastest but the animation codec is generic and will always work.

But using the Animation codec will go through a decompress to create the uncompressed animation format then a recompress when coming back into Xpress Pro to create the DV25 compressed resolution.
I am not a certified teacher, ASCR or otherwise. I just know many parts of the Avid very well as a result of being the product designer on the product since 1990... main area of expertise is all things 24 - film or otherwise.
