If you writers are afraid of entering because you lack the skills to make a poster, don't let that stop you. Make a simple one, ask one of the many people on here that can make one to do it for you, hell if you are in a pinch I'll make you one (it would still suck), but enter.

Yes, well said Chris. The most important part is to get a script in.

Agreed. Fear not the poster. Get those cursors blinking.

Anyone who needs or wants a poster I'd be happy to help.
PM or email me your idea.

I did a poster myself last time and this time I need a swamp that sucks a girl in. I'm planning to google some of the swamp images and work on it a little on Power Point - don't know if adding a hand that sticks out of it is possible... I want to do it myself but I do have a question: How would you do it? Am I on the right track here?
Thanks.

Not sure how to do anything in PowerPoint, that knowledge was scraped out of my brain with an icepick. I would suggest PhotoShop.

Oh, okay. I don't have it but PP works for me. The question is - you take the images off google, right? Last time I took a pic of my hand and a knife next to it so I don't know.

That's where I get mine. :)

Photoshop or GIMP i'd recommend. (Free Alternative)
You can get images from anywhere. I used to use Google, but the idea of ever getting pulled up by someone for using a picture got to me a little, so i just go to a free image site and use there stock.. (then if they don't have it I use Google!)

That site's great normally.

Thanks! I'm planning to install GIMP, already researched and as soon as I figure out the version I need...

Just thought I'd throw in, there are tons of youtube tutorials on 'GIMP basics' or for other specific tasks.

I have no idea how I did it last time but this time I can't copy paste the poster on my thread.

You have to host it on a server like your own or a web based one... Like http://ploader.net/ then just drop in the URL and you're good.
