Update #1 - WE ARE ON!!! I met today with the crew and finished up the script. Secured our 2 locations (comic book store and hospital room.) Site survey went well and we are ready to roll.

We are going to be shooting on the RED MYSTERIUM X w/ Zeiss Prime Lenses.

2.40:1 (we are shooting 4.5K)

Behind the scenes footage coming later in the week.

Cool, I'm glad to hear this still happening and I'm psyched to see a film shot on the Red. I'm looking forward to the BTS too.

Title Update -

We have settled on a title - LEXI LUTHER: Worlds Greatest Super Villain

Shooting Update -

We shot in a comic store today and things were pretty rushed. We only had 2 hours to get everything shot. The schedule messed with our script and we had to do some serious improv. At 10:50, the comic book store owner opened his doors for business (10 minutes early) and we had to stop filmming immediately. We needed 2 more shots...but what do you say when you have been giving the location for free :) Anyway...I think we will be able to work around it in post. HA!

Poster coming tomorrow.

Good Night!

Wow! A 2 hour shoot! That's awesome! Congrats on getting in shot, and good luck on the edit!

None of the comic shop stuff turned out. We shot again today and I think we got some better stuff. Shooting another couple of scenes tomorrow.

Editing that 4.5K stuff is a real bear. It bogged down 2 machines until we installed our RED ROCKET. Stuff is looking good. Hope it all comes together.

That is a wild screen shot. I love the two masks and I'm dying to know who's in the chair.

Thanks Chris. We originally planned to use some hard core Mexican Luchadore masks, but that didn't pan out. My son and I made these masks and I think they actually worked out better. He was cheesed to be able to help out making the props.

Tell your son he did a great job. They're original and cool looking with a "Tim Burton" kind of vibe.

Ha ha! Yeah, that's just jargon on my screen, too. Didn't know if it was a work thing.
