The X-9 paper project was the first run with the AF100 and the Ashwood interview was more recent. Let me know your thoughts. We are very happy with this camera.

Very clean and pro work Andrew
You had some nice ideas to work with. Loved the "paper means business " spot.
The Ashwood clip was very effective and compelling. Awesome talent. Also should alleviate the "banding" issue some mention.
You guys have a great grasp of both the camera and how to communicate with it. Great at all levels.

Thanks guys, we are still tweaking the settings, but all in all this camera has been fantastic!

Looks good.
My one tip, take it or leave it, is to consider shooting your interviews with the key light on the other side of the interviewer. Right now from left to right it seems you have: Interviewer-Camera-Key Light (at least in this example), and I suggest having the key light to the left of the interviewer (when the subject is facing the way you have her here... this would be reversed if she is reversed).
Lighting is subjective, but this is more of the standard way to light interviews. The camera ends up facing the side of the face where the light is falling off more. This might seem counter-intuitive, but the modeling it creates on the face looks quite nice. The way you have it hear, the camera is looking at a very flatly lit side of the face. While flat, even light is often nice you aren't really getting the modeling on the face that is desirable.
If you use hair lights, I often think that the key light/subject/hair light are in an almost straight line, so if you swing the key light over, the hair light would also shift. There are a lot of lighting diagrams online that show this common practice.
My two cents,
Benjamin

Thank you Benjamin, we will experiment with that on our next shoot. Outside input is a great thing!

My first thought was as Benjamins when I saw that interview lighting as well ...but I kind of decided it was working ok and was kind of different also.
