Has anyone used the older FD lens (and in particular the 50 and 300mm lens) on their xl2? or KNOW of anyone that has?
How are the results from these, and what are they like to work with? I've heard using an adapter and these lens gives you an image straight from the sweetspot of the lens. Does that really make a difference?
I have the 50 and 300mm lens, and I'm considering buying an XL2 for my film studies. I also have a UV filter (as useful or useless as it is). I know I'll need to buy an adapter, but that aside, does having these lens' make it that much more worth-while buying this particular cam (as opposed to buying a DVX)?
