Whatever you do...DO NOT spend that money...it belongs to Prince Baktutu from Ugatswandahoo and his family is in great need of your help moving 3.5 million out of the country to keep it safe from the hands of their very corrupt government. They are the ones who killed his father, and he will give you 20% to keep when it is all safe. The $300 is the good faith transfer to show you that he is legit. You must now await further instruction, which will be given to you at the proper moment in the proper place. Keep an eye out, as you may indeed find them discreetly hidden between pages of a phone booth directory.

What a hoot! That made me laugh. Yes, I suppose most of us have received that solicitous e-mail at least once. :)

uhm yeah, check with your parents and see if they sent it to you. If not you will be better off to call the bank and ask about it. You can bet if it was intended for someone else, they are wondering where it went and will be complaining to the bank soon enough. I had over three grand mysteriously show up in my account once and I tried and tried to make the bank take it back, but they refused. It turned out that it really was my money, I just didnt know it was coming. When the bank told me where the funds had originated, I even called them and made them double check their records that the payment was correct. haha!!!!
