making my first music video and shooting my first wedding this may (hopefully with a newly bought DVX) and I wanted something to plop onto the front

reasoned I named it on the run productions is cause I was a hyper kid and would never stop running around :)

anyways, here it is.. as you can see, I suck at photoshop.. first time using it... was trying to make it "professional" looking

any advice?

Well...they look more like letters from the Vulcan alphabet than legs. You can't find a friend that's got some design skills? I'm not bad at all with photoshop, but there's no way I'd do my own logo.

my purpose was to make it look vulcan.. obviously :)

ya it looks pretty bad to me too, but I want the design to have some abstract, yet recognizable, legs running... I tried, but for all I know, it could be some swear word in another language

none of my friends are any good at computers

Check out some design books or websites. The best stuff is always a combination of some one elses ideas.

By the way I would of never guessed those were legs, sorry.

If this is for a wedding videography business, "on the run" may not be the impression you want for your potential clients.

it's not a wedding videography business exclusively... if I get a wedding or live event, I'll do it, but mainly short films

blue spider, that's amazing lol, you make it?

I just spent the last 4 weeks working with a graphic designer to get our logo the way we wanted it. It is a lot harder than most people think.

I like the name, on the run productions, but I think you need to go back to the drawing board on the logo and the font choice.

For what it's worth, it took us many tries and iterations to find one we liked.
