im currently using Video Co-Pilot's "Designer Sound FX" plus a bunch of stuff ive acquired for Soundtrack Pro & Garage Band.

any recommendations for other broad packages? looking for Foley plus simple music beds that last for 30 seconds or more.

Video CoPilot stuff is more suspense and eerie adventure which i love but need some other flavors.

any suggestion would be appreciated.

Posted in the "Art Direction" section instead of "Audio". I would suggest you re-post it there or ask a mod to move the thread.

lowercase...ill check that link out. ive gotten quite a few things free online but im really looking for a large package already in tact rather than picking at them one by one. will definitely check out that link though.

Gohanto...yeah, i wasnt really sure where it should go and this does seem like the wrong place. i will try to get the moderators to do that. thanks for the tip!

Do move the thread.

Sound Ideas
Hollywood Edge

those would be the big players.

BTW Foley is only Foley if it's performed live to picture, so those would be SFX.

If you have some cash ($300 will give you a great start), SmartSound's Sonicfire Pro (http://www.smartsound.com/sonicfire/) can't be beat.

thanks to all of the suggestions here. i will look into everyone. i just ordered the new M-Audio "Venon" synth and will have it in a few days. had a lot of synths in the 80's and this has a lot of the really thick and fat sounds from back then. i think this will fill in some of the holes where the loops wont quite work.

once again thanks for the links!
