Just went from vegas to Avid

My name is Josh Ethier, I edit films for Reluctant Productions, though we're just uploading our first film shot ont he DVX to our webspace later today, I'll link that after. I've always used Vegas, and recently got Vegas 5, but also got my hands on a copy of Avid XPress Pro, and now I've decided to use that. I'm not sure on how to even run the program, though I can find my way around, mostly I have a problem with the OMFI media files being put on my 5gb recovery drive, for no reason, because i have a 400 GB main drive. I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a good online tutorial or video to check out to begin finding my way around Avid, as I've noticed it has much more possibilities than Sony's option. There is a tutorial DVD and media that is available as well as some third party books. I will try to track some of these down for you. Tutorial should be available from the Avid online store.

Go to Media Creation settings and make sure your drive settings are set the way you want it to be.
