Learning from the Masters

I have been lurking in these forums for a few months now and admiring all of your work. I am just starting into video (I'm a computer/web developer guy).

I am going to order my DVX tomorrow but would love to get some feeback on this shot done with a XL1 a couple weeks ago. Feedback on comp and lighting would be valuable.

nice lighting seemed a little blown out, could be the .wmv format though.

The contrast on the 2 sides of his face is a little much. Lessen the light coming from the left, it seems a little overexposed (again may be wmv issues), but put a stronger fill on the right, it seems a little dark.
