Here's an Interval Recording I shot the other night.
I wanted to see how much the lights would streak using the 1/2 sec shutter (I wish there was a 1 sec shutter!).
I probably should have stopped down a half stop.
Canon FD 50mm f/1.7 Ungraded footage.

1080/24p
Film Cam
I think it was ISO 400
Interval 1 fps
Shutter 1/2 second
Detail -5
Detail Coring +2
Chroma Level -2
Master Ped -5
Gamma Cine-Like D
Matrix Cine-Like

looks cool man. i like the flaring also. This is where dslr's are better for the extremely slow shutter they can achieve. Of course its stills strung into a vid. how long is this vid in real time?

Cool stuff. Does the AF100 allow you to do the 2fps hack?

I knew it wouldn't be the same as a DSLR, but was curious how the 1/2 sec shutter would look.
It was 5 minutes real time.
I was watching the TC counter since it shows how much video has been recorded (frame by frame), and I was aiming for 25 sec.

Cool stuff. Does the AF100 allow you to do the 2fps hack? I'm not sure. I think Barry commented on it pre-release... Barry???
This was 1 fps- what would be ideal (for the streaking light effect) is a slower shutter than 1/2 second. So a shutter speed hack would be great!

Yeah I wish that too, even more than that. Would that be possible with a simple firmware update?

Would like to know that too. The HPX170, could take scene files created with a text editor allowing for this.
