Wow this really pisses me off, why do I have to get another Panny sh*t lens when buying a camera? And I'm *not* gonna pick up a japense body on ebay... Got damn it!

I assume it's the same crap in US too?

eBay the lens as "new", maybe? You should be able to make up the difference, although it is a PITA I guess. Even when paying for the kit lens, it's still one outrageous deal on a heck of a movie camera...compared to what we had to choose from in that price range a couple of years ago. :) "Sh*t" is what 3X the price got you not long ago. lol Good luck!

Get a friend/acquaintance with a US credit card to pay for it, pay them and have it re-shipped to you in Sweden.

Weird because you can get the body only from Henrys in Canada....

Though it is unfortunate when you don't have options, the kit 14-140 is far from being a "sh*t lens". It Clists/eBays with no problem because people recognize it's quality as a versitile run-and-gun all'rounder.

Sweden might only have access to the 14-42mm lens rather than the 14-140mm, which is a superb lens. It doesn't help if you've already got the lens if you're upgrading from the GH1. If it's any consolation the Panasonic kit lens are actually alot better than kit lens you get with other brands they test and rank very well, one of the benefits of the 4/3rds format I think, good lens are cheaper and easier to make.

Well that's the problem then, it's not really Panasonic's fault, you could always contact the distributor for sweden see if they will get some bodies only in. Or just get a Japanese or US body like am I doing. It's alot cheaper anyway
