Click the ORIGINAL quality option above 1080p (only on youtube) to see video at much higher bitrate and unsqueezed to 2388x1080p (rendered small black bars is reason for lack of exact 1.33)

Had to try out the 14-140 + LA7200 with architecture. Obviously the flaws of the lens are present in the longer focal length shots, but the wide angle shots are unmatched by any other anamorphic adapter. You certainly can see the detail edge to edge in the leafblower shot.

I do think there is a secret to using the LA7200, but I need to test with more lenses in order to come up with a full conclusion of what focal lengths and f-stops work with the lens. I do not trust any of the other data out there, as I have other theories on how to get the adapter to work at multiple focal lengths.

Also, with the LA7200 on, I don't seem to be able to crash my camera at the new 86, 50 settings.

I'd like to download the 720p version but I don't know how. Can you place one version at vimeo please?

Nice footage. Some of the locations are very futuristic and would work (with some matte paint set extensions) for a Sci-Fi drama.

I noticed the "rounded rectangle" flares from the front element in a few shots. Also in the row of columns shot the last one, far right, was getting soft, probably due to aberrations within the adapter.

Overall, great stuff. Thanks for posting.

great clip! the original clip running full screen is very promising! some nice lens flares in there too.

the in car shots i loved! were these stabilised in post?

i'm testing the LA on the pancake lens at F1.7 just now, seems pretty usable from a 2 meter distance.

may i ask what is the step pyramid building? feels like colossus: the forbin project
