light light and supplies

I am leaving in a few days for Africa and must travel light and with light. Meaning I’m looking for an on camera light that either uses the XL2 hot shoe or a camera battery for power. Any ideas? Also, does anyone know of a local store in the Riverside, CA, area that I can find professional video equipment?

I have the Anton Bauer Ultralite 2 and like it very much. Comes with a diffuser, a softbox and some other goodies.
