I have an old camcorder that does not have firewire connections, is there a good way to get this footage onto the computer?

I use the DAC-100 to convert old analog to DV. It works great.

You can plug your old camcorder into your DVX via the S-Video and RCA jacks, put your DVX into DV Our mode in the menu, goto your NLE and uncheck "Enable Device Control" or whatever......then play your old camcorder and capture...the DVX converts it to DV.
