There are couple kick-ass films I have watched lately where terrible technical flubs can be noticed. *Case in point:
ALIENS
The scene where NEWT is being sucked across the platform due to the vacuum of space and BISHOP (The dirty Android bastard according to Ripley) is all severed in half and reaches out to grab her hand. *If you look closely, you can plainly see the hole in the stage and his waist sticking out of it. *
Sigh....
Superman
In an early scene where LOIS and CLARK are leaving the Daily Planet (This is right before she gets into the helecopter) they are walking past glass partitions. *Sure enough, throughout the exchange, you can see the Boom Mic. *
I showed these Flubs to my wife and she gasped "Oh my god! *Look at that!" and then I explained the Curse of the Filmmaker where we can't help but notice these things.
