Someone needs to show their leadership skills and set up a time and place to meet. I'm sure we can all help each other with our projects. Sometimes the total can be greater then the sum of the pieces. I live in Duluth, GA, not too far from Atlanta.

If everyone is willing to post what part of Greater Atlanta they live in, maybe we can establish a centralized location that will be fair for everyone for an initial meeting. I'm sure we could all use some help with our projects. And we all have something to bring to the table in terms of expertise, equipment and/or creativity. And as the Chinese Emperor said, "The first step is half the journey."

I've written a couple of scripts so maybe I can help in the writing area. I'm also building an editing suite. Somebody else might be good in lighting. You get the idea.

We need to set a date to meet up.. I have shot hundreds of industrials, several music videos and sports shows. I guess you could say my strong points would be lighting and camera work. We also have an edit suite.

How about this coming Saturday March 5th or Sunday March 6th? Less traffic on weekends.

I think we need to establish a central location that is convenient for every one. The first meeting can be somewhere casual like a Starbucks. So far we have Duluth which is NE from Atlanta and Conyers which is East of Atlanta. If anyone's interested tell us where you live in relation to Atlanta and we can figure out a spot.

One of the topics we can kick around is how we can keep track of the help we give each other so that no one gets left out. If we are willing to help each other out, it will reduce the costs of our projects.

Just found this thread as well. Just did a collaboration with "brendar" (Calhoun, GA) in which we both wrote, directed, and produced a short film. Currently I'm doing all the post-production including music (thus far). Here's the link to the rough edit (unfinished) that posted on my website:

I'm near I-85 and Pleasantdale Rd, one exit north on I-285.

I am currently in the creation stage of a "magazine" style half-hour television show for cable. I believe I have a concept that is attractive enough to gather corporate sponsorship.
