Upstairs at "Good Stuff" restaurant in Manhattan Beach. Saturday the 19th at 3:00 p.m. For an informal meet and great.
Surprize guest speaker. He is a producer who has been working on a history making DVX project involving at least 11 cities in two countries. The project is coming to L.A. For a 3 day shoot at the end of March. He is looking for crew so bring your resumes if you are interested.

I wouldn't be able to make weekday meets for about another month. :( Also, not sure about whoever else can make it... but anyone working in Santa Monica, or inland towards Burbank, or Hollywood who gets out between 5-7pm... will have to factor in an hour or more drive during the week.

Yo Stitch and Elvis...I'll be down that way on Sunday the 27th doing that feature shoot. Rehearsals have been in Hermosa Beach, but the shoot is in Gardenia. Maybe we can have a mini-meet?

Everyone gets up at least once to check out the cute red-head that was checking out antOmic earlier. haha! I STILL think she wishes you were the Tony she was meeting up with haha.
4 DVXuser.com members go to the next room (sun as still out) looked awesome.
Then, show and tell.
Stitch busts out his 10" G3iBook
Then antOmic busts out his 15" poerbook.
We wind up using that, and watch everyone's work for the next hour or so. NICE stuff guys! It's great to see different styles and work. Show and tell regarding footage and movies.
Talk about DVXUser.com some more.

Well, it was a pleasure meeting up! Was great to be able to see your guy's stuff! Especiallly at high resolution!
antOmic, great effort on Poker Night once again. And I LOVE the outtake reel of your new project. HAHAHAHAH!!!!
Elvis, thanks for putting the effort to bringing this one together. I know it wasn't a huge turnout, but regardless, I still had fun and gained some inspiration to enter this month's contest. Also it was cool to talk about how you guys lit your stuff.

Can't wait for the next one. Seeing all the different types of footage and projects with this camera still amazes me.
I will see ask my friends Monday if we can still get that studio in Burbank and Miracle Mile if we can start getting meetings there.

But honestly, I thought Good Stuff was a great location. The beach weather was pretty relaxing!
