I have a roland em-25 keyboard and soundblaster audigy card with audigy drive. Anyone tried this combo? I use my old atari 1024 st right now cos the pc midi software I had caused nothin but greif. Please let me know

i have, and if you know what your doing it can sound pretty dam good. Those was the old days. Now I've upgraded. No more sound blaster stuff. Go get yourself a Maudio audiophile 2496. It's better than the SB and cheaper. You can order it online at musiciansfriend for about $100. That would be my only suggestion is to get a better audio card. But what you have will work as well. It all depends on you. You play music mino?

I can't comment on the card at this point but i will surf it up. As for the music part...I do love to play drums and guitar mostly. give me a few beer, a musical device and other people with musical devices evryone knowing at least the basics and fun will be had. I don't play pro or even amatuer but i have one hell of a lot of fun. Keyboards and midi is another story, because now I can arrange, hash riffs out tweek and bend and fit the music to a project, save it and tweek it some more so it's more like a design than a spontaneous moment. Does any of this gibberish answer your question?
