urgent!! letterbox

hi, I have an urgent question.
I have a 16:9 footages, and I need to present my work on regular TV. I don't want to show squeezed footages so I need to create letterbox for them.
I use Premiere Pro 1.5 and can I create letterboxes with PP1.5?
or any free softwares?

yes you can, just make sure you uncheck the keep aspect ratio setting before you drag down the movie in the timeline, then just stretch the picture wide until it fills the widescreen window. (If I remeber correctly)
