I don't own FX-1,
but I am playing around with some m2t files I downloaded.
I downloaded a demo version DV film maker 2.1 and trying to see what HDV 24P looks like.
Anyway,
when I select 24P Editing options(convert 60i to 24P, output 23.976 exact) then click start,
a new window for Compression Settings pops up.
what setting do I need to pick for HDV?
seems like the default is Photo-JPEG, Best Depth and Medium Quality....what are these?
Since I don't see HDV, should I just just pick "DV/DVCPRO-NTSC"? or "Video"?
Should I set the quality to Best since I want to see what HDV can do?
and what happened to sound?
I lost sound after transfering the HDV footage to 24P
Thanks,
Chi
