Delay until sound kicks in - Encore 1.5

I have a motion menu that has typical links to movies. When I select one of the buttons, the movie begins to play fine but there is about a 1/2 second delay in the audio kicking in. This makes for a pop at the beginning and seems to be related to the motion menu. I tried it with a static menu and I didn't have this problem.

There is no problem with the audio being in sync, it's just that the sound is delayed through the speakers. When it does kick in, it's perfectly in synch. I tried adding a couple of seconds of black before the movies but the same thing happens when the sound eventually kicks in.

Anyone else had this issue and is there a way to fix it? There's nothing special about the menu, just a video file with overlaid buttons created in Encore 1.5.

Adobe Encore DVD 1.5.1 update is available, but the bugs it fixed were not what you described. I've never noticed my DVD menus doing what you described. hmm..

Well I figured out that it seems to be related to the DVD player. I tried it on another and the problem is not there....weird.
