First of all this camera is very impressive. Short of XLR inputs they thought of everything, including programable buttons for favorite settings.
So far I have only shot DV with the camera. I have found 2 limitations and they are probably my fault. Thus the reason for this post.
1. When shooting a pan of an all glass skyscraper or anything with a visible grid and then capturing in FCP HD (standard DV settings via Firewire) it appears as though the grids are moving on playback of my movie.
2. I hear audio on the camera when it is play in VCR mode, but it is not captured into FCP HD.
I am a novice. Did I do something wrong? Please help.
