What would anyone say is a good smaller sized HD monitor to use for in your editing setup. A broadcast model is abserdly expensive. I have seen some for as low as $700.

ANyone feel like suggesting?

Having just gone thru getting a monitor for the Sony FX1 we purchased, is it possible you mean a 16x9 widescreen monitor/LCD ? I am not aware of any HD monitors for less than a couple thousand dollars but perhaps someone out there can help.

We wound up purchasing one of the Sony Luma series flat panels. The smallest one (15") is around $2K I think-- we purchased the 23" for use at trade shows. It is my understanding that even these are not true pixel for pixel HD Monitors, but quite good. Video electronics is not my area of expertise tho.
