Just saw it.
Loved it.
You may want to kill me after i say this but the story kinda reminded me of total recall ha ha :-X
special effects were great also.
Any thoughts?

I saw it before it opened!

I thought it was very good, if a tad bit derivative of being john malkovich.

Let's see charlie kauffman write a "normal" movie and then I'll believe he's the genius everyone says he is. (Although I've liked, and in some cases even loved, everything I've seen of his so far.)

Excellent film, both in style and content. Michel Gondry is a genius (although he seemed a bit restrained here compared to his music video work, something which he's already chastized himself for doing), and Charlie Kauffman is hands-down the best screenwriter in mainstream film right now. If there were only more films like this one, I might actually have a reason to go to the theater again.

By the way, what do you mean by a "normal" film, Policar?

Also, Infokill, I don't think you're all that far off with the comparison to "Total Recall"--the themes in "Eternal Sunshine" seem to be at least partly influenced by Phillip K. Dick.
