I was watching a show on ABC today (Sunday) and it had to do with the NBA All star game. They did a little behind the scene piece of the players arriving to their hotels, praticing, signing autographs, etc. I could tell by the quality that it was either a DVX or possibly the new Sony. Well in a wide shot I noticed it was in fact the Sony MiniDV HD camera which was being used a lot! They even gave the camera to some of the players like Iverson to get some footage of whatever he was saw. I felt the quality of the camera really held up nicely on national tv!
It feels like Camera wars are about to begin with all the major companies trying to out do the other with better cameras.
