HP Commercial

I'm sure ya'll have seen the new commercials for HP, where the people have the picture frames, which freeze into whatever image is behind it. My favorite is where the guy is pulling them over his head and they are freezing.

Anyone know how this effect was created? I'm not really looking to recreate it, I'd just love to know how its done.

(I also searched the HP site and couldn't find a link to the ad.)
