Hello, folks:
At a recent test shoot we tried the technique of running footage shot as 60 fps interlaced in a 24 fps progressive "timeline."
The effect was done in Discreet Combustion 3 using the de-interlace filter. Here is the result:
Click to see Slow-Motion Match (http://205.238.201.174/SloMoMatch24.mov)
The only complaint about the process is that you can see a slight up & down jumping as the footage goes from field to field. I tried reversing the field dominance and the effect got FAR worse, so I know that I at least have the right one selected!
Crits or suggestions welcomed!
