saw the movie and loved it.

the story is part rocky, matrix, bend it like beckham and every chinese fung fu film.

the part i liked most about the movie was what appeared to be a low budget cinematic look with above average special affects. the low budget look makes the special affects appear even more spectacular and really works.

the second thing i loved about movie was the taratino like character development. each character has a nice backstory and they are far out and crazy. because of this the linear progression doesn't seem as far fetched.

i don't want to give the movie away but i recommend it to anyone and enjoy great comedy.

I've yet to see the american release of this film but loved the HK version. I will rent the U.S. release just to see the differences. I loved the bruce lee wanna be goalie though. The comedic aspect of this film was great. It never takes itself too seriously, and makes for a great watch.
