I have an iMac 800 Mhz PowerPC G4
1GB SDRAM
I once went into unix and gave FCP a little more memory juice.
but, my problem is that everytime i compress to quicktime conversion from final cut pro, it slows everything down to a crawl.
can anyone explain what i'm doing wrong and if this is normal?
because I could use quicktime pro to do just the same and everything is fine, running at normal speeds.
