hey guys, im looking for a .swf player that has controls like quicktime does. play/pause/foraward/backwards.

i want to have something like the player these cats have...

www.anonymouscontent.com click on any of the video or commercials. the player that comes up is simple and sweet.

i want to have swf as an option for video on my site as well as qt and wmv.

dude!! you should of post this up earlier. I had the perfect swf player. Dam! I didn't save the link because I had no use for it when I found the site. It was hella hard to find too. I guess this didn't help you at all. Yeah, I suc.

Use Macromedia Flash 2004 with video option to author your site to make a site like the anonymous content's webpage. It isn't a dedicated swf player, the flashvideo controll is part of the swf file.

They probably created their own player from Flash. I've been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out Flash for the last 3 months. I'm getting there...slowly...

If you have Dreamweaver you can add on the FLV Video Kit. There are 6 predefined skins (SWF) players for FLV's. You can also buy a pretty cool one from Proxus - www.proxus.com

Look in your cache. That SWF file is in there since it downloaded progressively as you watched the video. The player is nothing more than a Flash file with buttons. Probably a good bit of actionscript too.(that's the stuff that's driving me crazy!!!)

If you find a free player out there that is cool, let me know. You can always try searching for Flash Video Components on the web. Maybe over time there will be more free ones out there.
